Amazing power of Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar saved my life (in a way).

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is a digestive disorder that occurs when acidic stomach juices, or food and fluids back up from the stomach into the esophagus. GERD affects people of all ages—from infants to older adults.  Since childhood I was struggling with chronic headache and stomach bloating (outcome of GERD). It started with low frequency but slowly increased. The amount of medicines to ease headache increased over the period of time and the same dosage which used to work earlier started to vane off after some time. I tried several channels to get this diagnose and seek effective treatment. First, I tried to get checked for migraine then Endoscopy and Colonoscopy in anticipation to explore the root cause of reflux. Even tried some drugs store options including antacid like Gaviscon, Gelusil, and Pudin Hara (Mint Pearls). After trying all these options, apparently, I reached to a milestone where I started feeling depressed due to recurring headaches.

Though my speculation for home remedies was never strong. One day my wife while surfing the internet stumbled upon the benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar. She convinced me to try which made me think that what possibly could go wrong. I must admit it was not easy because of tangy strong smell and taste. It took few false starts and a lot of persuasion to slowly build-up a routine. I started with one teaspoon in a glass of water every morning. My situation was quite bad, needless to mention, hoping for immediate relief. I kept my faith intact and patience strong.

And VOILA!!! It worked like a magic pill. All my problems vanished. No more headaches, no more acid reflux, no more stomach bloating, no more constipation…I was relieved. Though, I didn’t stop it immediately. I reduced the frequency to alternate days first and then twice and week before stopping it completely.
